Fulham Road runs roughly parallel to King's Road. There are a good number of retail outlets along this road, they include antique dealers, specialist interior furnishing shops and gift shops. Recently more designer couture outlets have begun to spring up towards the eastern end. The section nearest the cinema is known as The Beach, and is home to various trendy bars, pubs and clubs. The nearest underground stations are: South Kensington and Gloucester Road.

Patrick Mavros
Patrick created a pair of earrings for his wife Catja, who wore them to the hair salon, where her hairdresser saw them and requested that a pair be made for her. Soon afterwards, all the other ladies who went to the salon were asking for similar earrings and from this gift of love, our journey as Africa’s luxury house began.
Patrick and Catja have injected their style and creativity into the magical environment of their home and studio in the sanctuary of the Umwimsi Valley where they brought up their four sons.

Having set his mind on a career at the Technical University in Linköping, where he taught students in industrial economics and was a candidate for doctorate, he decided to leave the university life behind and move back home to manage operations of Hästens and start a family.
